Dr. Marcus then went across the East river and attended Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine for his fellowship in Gastroenterology. Over the years, he has presented at numerous scientific meetings and recently published a chapter in the prestigious textbook Sleisenger and Fordtran's Gastrointestinal and Liver Disease and completed revising the section on Chronic Gastritis for the well-known website, MedScape.com.
A prime reason for moving to Florida was the warm weather and the opportunity to participate in a practice which focuses on all aspects of gastrointestinal disease - both in and out of the hospital setting. His practice is based at West Palm Hospital.
Professional interests include diagnostic, therapeutic and video capsule endoscopy, in addition to motility disorders, colorectal cancer screening, chronic liver disease and inflammatory bowel disease. He has earned numerous awards throughout the years, including Meritorious and Distinguished Community Services awards. Outside of work, Dr. Marcus spends most of his time with his wife and five beautiful children. His hobbies include fishing, hiking and camping.
